Under pressure
Sabri Lamouchi insists he remains the “right manager” for Nottingham Forest, despite a third successive defeat leaving the head coach under pressure.
The Reds are yet to record a victory this season, with a 2-0 reverse at home to Cardiff City their second league loss, on the back of being knocked out of the Carabao Cup.
Lamouchi’s position came under scrutiny in the summer, after his team’s final day collapse against Stoke City saw them miss out on the play-off places last term.
The club have been prepared to stand by him, backing the Frenchman in the transfer market, as well as with a change of backroom staff.
Fans' thoughts
Nottingham Forest's early season struggles continued as they were beaten 2-0 by Cardiff City at the City Ground on Saturday.
The Reds were dire in the first half as Kieffer Moore headed in a tamely defended corner after three minutes.
More weak defending saw Wales striker Moore on target again after 40 minutes, not too long after Lewis Grabban had missed a glorious chance.
Forest were much improved after the break but struggled to create clear cut chances, bar a Ryan Yates header which was tipped over.
Here's a look at what fans made of the performance on Twitter.

Substitution explained
Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi said it was a “tactical choice” to replace Joe Lolley in the first half of his side’s defeat to Cardiff City.
In a poor opening 45 minutes, the winger was brought off with little more than half an hour gone, when the hosts were already 1-0 down.
Lyle Taylor came on in his place, joining Lewis Grabban up top as Lamouchi tweaked his system.
Kieffer Moore scored again for the Bluebirds before the break, however. And while there was an improvement after the interval from the Reds, they were beaten for the third time this season in all competitions.
Player ratings
Nottingham Forest remain without a victory this season, as they were beaten 2-0 by Cardiff City.
In a second successive league defeat - a third in all competitions this term - the damage was done in the first half for Sabri Lamouchi’s side.
A Kieffer Moore double set up the visitors for the three points, and although the home side improved after the interval, they were unable to force a breakthrough.
