Mazo on the fight’s key moment

“(It) feels great to start the year with a win. It’s the way I wanted to start, and also opening this card, I wanted to put on a show for fans and get the energy going. So hopefully people enjoyed it.”

Mazo on making improvements

“I think I’m growing as a fighter a lot. Even when I lost my debut, I still learned a lot and it made me the fighter I am today. Every time I fight, you are going to see a different and better version of me. The weight didn’t have any impact on the fight. I felt great, but I’ll make sure next time that I will do things professionally and have everything taken care of.”

Mazo on what she wants next

“This year, I want memorable fights and for people to know my name. I don’t know how many fights or when, but I’ll be better and ready when they call.”
