Saab Magalona, Jim Bacarro start fund in memory of daughter Luna

MANILA, Philippines – Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro, along with their families, started the Luna Isabel Magalona-Bacarro Memorial Fund in honor of the daughter they lost in February.

Through the fund, the young couple also launched their first project with the Kythe Foundation and the foundation’s partner hospital, Quirino Memorial Medical Center.

Saab shared on Instagram that the pediatric playroom within the hospital was named after Luna, and that the fund will be used to support its staff and materials.

All smiles as we honor our angel the best way we can imagine. Together with our family, we started the Luna Isabel Magalona-Bacarro Memorial Fund and we launched our first project with @kythefoundation’s Child Life Program today. Kythe’s long-time partner hospital, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, has named their pediatric playroom after Luna and the fund will help pay for the staff and materials to make sure the children get ample play time.
