South Australia has left all its current coronavirus restrictions in place with travellers from Melbourne, Sydney and Perth still required to undergo COVID-19 testing.
The state's transition committee met on Tuesday but decided against any changes.
The only major border measures that remain in place are a requirement for people to get three coronavirus tests if they come from Greater Melbourne in Victoria, Greater Sydney, Wollongong, the Central Coast in NSW and Perth, Peel and the southwest in Western Australia.
The only exception is people who attended the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne between January 21 and 31, who must quarantine for 14 days.
Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said the SA transition committee would meet again next week to review some local restrictions including the ban on dancing and stand-up drinking in public and clubs.
He said the committee understood the hospitality sector was looking for some relief on those activities and the committee would consider ways to provide that a safely as possible.
Premier Steven Marshall said the government understood that some lingering restrictions were causing a degree of angst in the community.
"The transition committee, the government and SA Health don't want to keep any of those restrictions in place for one day longer than they need to be," he said.
"We always take the expert advice. The transition committee is always looking at how we can ease the restrictions but not create additional risk to health and the economy here in our state."
SA reported no new cases on Tuesday with 4188 tests conducted over the previous 24 hours, taking the total testing since the start of the pandemic to 998,660.
SA has two active infections, both Australians who recently returned from overseas and are in hotel quarantine.
