SA Police uncover suspected drug lab operating out of Queenstown business

Police says they have uncovered a suspected drug lab operating out of a business in Adelaide's north-west.

SA Police (SAPOL) said they found the suspected lab in a business on Port Road at Queenstown.

Detectives in hazmat suits spent Sunday afternoon inspecting a number of materials seized from the rear of the commercial property.

Metropolitan Fire Service crews were also on standby due to contamination risks.

SAPOL's Drug Investigation Branch said it removed a number of hazardous chemicals from the property on Friday.

The front entrance to the building has been cordoned off.

Police have not yet revealed if anyone has been arrested or charged.
