Masked duo caught on camera setting pizza bar on fire

South Australian Police have released CCTV footage of an arson attack on a pizza bar in Adelaide's south last month.

Emergency crews were called to the Happy Valley Shopping Centre around 3:45am on Tuesday, August 18, after reports of a blaze at the pizza shop.

The CCTV footage shows two people wearing gloves and motorbike helmets forcing open the front door of the shop, with a motorcycle parked close by.

One suspect can be seen entering the pizza bar before returning outside and setting the fire alight.

Police said the fire caused approximately $1.2 million of damage to the shop and neighbouring businesses.

Police continue to investigate the incident and are hopeful the public may be able to help identify the suspects or the motorcycle involved.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
