S Club reunion tour to go ahead without band member Hannah Spearritt

Band member Hannah Spearritt will not be joining S Club on their reunion tour across Ireland and the UK following the passing of their fellow bandmate Paul Cattermole.

In an emotional video uploaded to their Instagram the remaining five members of the band shared that Hannah will not be joining them on stage for the bands 25 year reunion tour.

Member Jon Lee said: "You’ve probably noticed that there’s only five of us here today, and although Hannah will always be part of S Club 7, she won’t be joining us on this tour. We wish her all the best for the future"

Paul was the founding member of the band and was found dead in his home in Dorset on April 6 aged 46.

In the video the group were reduced to tears as they said: "It's taken a while for us to find the right words to describe how we feel about losing our brother Paul.

"We are all still in so much disbelief and Paul was a big brother to us, even to you guys. Nobody can ever replace our Paul and he lives on in each and every one of us."

Despite the sad tone of the message, the band reassured fans they are excited for the upcoming tour: "The five of us are geared up to do the tour, it's going to be our tribute to Paul."

The band have rebranded from S Club 7 to S Club and have renamed the tour 'The Good Times' tour in honour of Paul's song.

The group will be preforming in Dublin in the 3Arena this year on October 16.
