Rylan says 'don't look' as he reveals 'new job' with hip-shaking moves after being branded 'brave'

Rylan Clark jokingly showed fans his 'new job' as he wowed them with his hip-slithering moves. The BBC Radio 2 star posted a video to his Instagram Stories which seemingly showed him standing up on a bar before busting into a dance.

He was sporting an all-white ensemble made up of a long-sleeved shirt with the buttons open down to his belly button and a matching pair of skinny trousers which he kept round his waist with a black belt.

Rylan, 34, finished off his party look with a pair of pristine trainers and kept his dark locks quiffed back with his beard neatly trimmed. "New job," he typed alongside the clip to his 1.6 million followers before adding: "Don't look at me... I'm shy!"

It comes as Rylan did appear to be enjoying a sunshine break after confirming time off from his popular Saturday afternoon radio show on BBC Radio 2. However, it has since been reported that he is actually living it up in Greece while also filming a new show.

According to The Sun, the TV and radio star, who stepped down from his presenting duties on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two earlier this year, is set to host a brand new Prime Video show, which will follow a group of partying Brits as they live together and try to run a bar in Zante.

And the reason for his trip was seemingly confirmed by talent agent Martha Durham who posted a picture of Rylan to her Instagram Story, which he then shared, saying: "Wrapped for the day. New @rylan @rpimevideo show coming soon."

But while Rylan hasn't confirmed his next gig himself, he has been posting some holiday snaps with one showing him taking part in a bit of paragliding. Sharing a photo of him in action, the former X Factor star was barely recognisable as he simply captioned the post with a parachute emoji.

And Rylan's fans and followers were quick to brand the star 'brave'. @michellegarratt04 said: "OMG you were brave." @hollyoakemily commented: "Omg Rylan xx I’m so happy that you can do this I couldn’t do this xx your such a brave man and I hope you have a great time."

@ebarmby echoed: "You’re very brave up there Rylan!" @redpathkathryn posted: "Braver than me but what an experience." @janiceroscoe197 laughed: "Oh wow you were brave or was it you being daft." @fayea.8 added: "WOW You are brave, i admire you, enjoy."

As mentioned, his trip comes after he announced he was taking a break from his show on BBC Radio 2 after it was revealed that he was one of the favourites to take over Phillip Schofield on This Morning after the veteran presenter quit after 20 years before he admitted to an affair with a much younger ITV colleague.

The TV and radio star, who is no stranger to the ITV daytime show having spent a significant time at the helm and returned last summer for a week-long stint fronting the show with Ruth Langsford, told his listeners on Saturday (May 20) that he won't be on the show for a while.

Rylan, who hosts his own show every Saturday from 3 until 6pm said: "This is where I should say ladies I won't be catching up with you next week. Because I am off to do some other bits and bobs so I'm not going to be here for a fair few weeks." He added: "I just want to say whoever is looking after this seat for a fair few weeks can you please make sure you look after Couch Potatoes."
