Rylan Clark-Neal returns to work following three month break amid marriage split

TV presenter Rylan Clark-Neal is kick-starting his comeback by fronting his own brand new podcast.

The 32-year-old star, who pulled out of a string of TV and radio commitments in a three month break from the spotlight over his marriage break-up is set to return with his very own show.

The new podcast series, called The Ry-Union, will see the Strictly It Takes Two host chatting to a host of celebs with his pal Katie Pricetaking the hot seat in week one.

The show will be informative as well as offering the expected thrills and giggles, as Rylan shares his insight into the entertainment industry with the stars who have supported him since he shot to fame on The X Factor.

A source told The Sun: “Rylan’s new podcast is really exciting and is giving him a real trip down memory lane.

“He will be speaking with people who were integral parts of his journey.

“Rylan appeared on Katie Price’s TV show Signed at the start of his telly career and she has agreed to be one of his guests."

Other guests reportedly signed up include X Factor star Cher Lloyd, who took on the show two years before Rylan in 2010.

The source added: “It’s going to be a really uplifting and fun series and will give fans even more insight into Rylan and his background."

And the podcast producers will be hoping to track down former X Factor mentor Nicole Scherzinger, who is often spotted jet-setting on holiday, to be a guest on the show.

The popular presenter took time out of his hectic work schedule to focus on his mental health following the breakdown of his nearly six year marriage to Dan Neal.

He previously said: “I just wanted to write a message to thank you for all the love and kindness you have shown us.

“We are currently prioritising our mental health and looking after the ones around us we love most.

“I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love in due course.

“Thank you for being patient with me.”

Their split was first reported in The Sun after Rylan was absent from his hosting work, including his show on BBC Radio 2.

Recording is set to start next month on the Ry-union podcast and fans of the presenter are no doubt keen to welcome him back.
