Rylan Clark-Neal ‘overjoyed’ as stepson Cameron is accepted into drama school

Rylan Clark-Neal shared his pride after his stepson Cameron gained a place at drama school.

The presenter, 31, revealed that he and husband Dan were “overjoyed” that Cameron, 20, was accepted to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in Hammersmith.

Posting a photo of himself and Cameron celebrating the happy news on Instagram, the Ready Steady Cook host wrote: “Well I’m a proud one tonight. Our boy has been accepted to LAMDA !!!

“Completely overjoyed and so proud well done @cam.neal xxxxx”

The smiling snap showed Rylan holding a glass of champagne to mark the occasion, with Cameron holding a beer.

His friend and This Morning colleague Ruth Langsford shared a congratulatory message for Cameron, writing: “Yaaay! Congratulations @cam.neal.”

Homes Under The Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander added: “Only the best go there…”

Rylan and Dan first met when the presenter hosted Big Brother’s Bit On The Side in 2013 while the former police officer was a contestant.

They got engaged the following year and eventually tied the knot in 2015, in a ceremony attended by stars including Langsford and her husband Eamonn Holmes, Katie Price and Big Brother presenter Emma Willis.

Cameron currently lives with his father and step-father, and in a previous interview with The Sun Rylan admitted that he has “turned into a proper dad and I even tell him off.”

“I look at him like he’s my own,” he said.
