Rylan Clark-Neal can't stop smiling as he heads home after Strictly filming

It looks like TV favourite Rylan Clark-Neal is finally getting his mojo back after recently calling time on his marriage.

The presenter, who has dropped his surname from his telly credits since splitting from his husband Dan Neal, was smiling as he hopped into a taxi to take him home after the teatime Strictly spin-off show.

The 32-year-old from Essex co-hosts BBC2 series It Takes Two with former pro dancer Janette Manrara, who took over from Zoe Ball in September.

He looked like he was carrying a takeaway and was seen hugging a pal goodbye before climbing into the cab.

Rylan, whose real name is Ross Richard Clark, hyphenated his surname to Clark-Neal when he married former policeman Dan in 2015.

But after six years of marriage, Rylan announced the couple had broken up. In June, he released a statement saying:

"I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage. I have taken time away from work as I am not in a good place at the moment and am seeking help.”

He then took a five month hiatus from work and didn't appear on any of his social media sites.

But now he's back looking happier and talking about moving on, and joining dating apps like Tinder.

He revealed his Tinder bio reads, "Tall normal bloke - 6'4" - am I actually on this thing?"

Rylan also joked that Adele's new single, Easy On Me which she revealed was about her divorce, could have been written for him.

He shared a video on Instagram which showed a clip of the video as Adele makes a phonecall, with her saying "Hello Rylan." He captioned it: “Wish Adele would stop writing about me tbf (to be fair).”

Eagle-eyed viewers of Strictly: It Takes Two have noticed that Rylan is now going by his first name only, having ditched his surname Clark and his married name Neal.

A source told The Sun : “He thought it was best to have a fresh start and the easiest way to do that was to go back to just one name.”

They added, “He didn’t want to make a big fuss - just to change it onscreen.”
