Rylan Clark-Neal and Gary Barlow patch up their feud seven years after X Factor spats

Rylan Clark-Neal and Gary Barlow have patched up their feud – seven years after falling out when the former starred on X Factor.

The presenter, 30, posted a photograph of himself with the X Factor judge, 48, on Twitter, alongside the caption “After seven years, we’re good” followed by heart emoji.

It comes after Barlow and Clark-Neal famously fell out during the filming of the talent show.

They traded barbs with Barlow encouraging Clark-Neal to mime instead of singing and storming off the programme after Carolynne Poole was sent home instead of the soon-to-be TV sensation.

But now the pair have put their differences to one side and have made up.

Barlow responded to Clark-Neal’s tweet with a thumbs up and heart emoji.

Yesterday it was announced Clark-Neal would be taking to the stage as a singer again, in aid of Children in Need.

The BBC Radio 2 star will “belt out karaoke classics” for 24 hours from Tuesday, November 12.

The marathon sing-a-long will take place at the Radio 2 studios in Wogan House, London and be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.

He said: “My love of karaoke is absolutely no secret and so I’m incredibly excited to take to the microphone and raise as much as I possibly can for BBC Children In Need.

“Tune in to BBC Radio 2 or via BBC Red Button from 9am on the 12th November to hear me – and my special guests – serenade the Radio 2 family with as many karaoke classics as I can fit in to 24 hours. And don’t forget to donate!”
