Rylan Clark makes quip about 'relationship' as he continues to flaunt new look

Rylan Clark has jokingly addressed his relationship status as he continues to flaunt his new look. Over Christmas, the BBC Radio 2 host was quick to deny any suggestion there was a new man in his life following his tough marriage split in 2021 after he posted a confusing snap on social media.

After the main festivities, which saw Rylan united with family and friends, including his much-loved mum Linda, he was seen unwinding at his stunning Essex home. But as he relaxed on his sofa with a blanket and a chocolate bar resting on his leg, fans assumed the telly favourite was also enjoying his evening with a secret other.

"That's me sorrrted," he typed alongside the cryptic image at the time. But as he sparked confusion with his snap, Rylan returned to his Instagram Stories with an explanation as he laughed off claims he'd got himself a new love interest. "I’m eating chocolate and it’s resting on my leg. Not a chocolate ice pack," he started his follow-up post. The Strictly: It Takes Two host then added along with laughing emojis: "Not someone else’s leg. Sadly."

Then over the weekend, Rylan took to social media again and this time, he shared a screenshot of text messages and wrote: "This is the most I’ve been in a relationship for a while [to be fair]". But it wasn't romantic messages he was receiving as it was simply reminders for the TV and radio star to remember to put his refuse sacks out for collection.

And Rylan was quickly flooded with messages with plenty of people seeing the funny side and making unusual observations @youfoundcarax said: "It’s getting a minute later every week. I don’t like that." @luhbreton wrote: "Ok I do actually need these reminders though. How do we make this a throuple?"

@sarcar50 commented: "You’re positively ‘invested.’ So jealous of the life you’ve built with your bins." @jadeazwilson joked: "Shame you don’t get a little ‘Morning’ first." @4718_becca laughed: "How posh .. I have to see what bin the neighbours have out." @louise_boman replied: "You get text reminders!!!" @mrs_mc_2021 added: "I need this messaging service?!"

Since then, Rylan has been trying out a new look. The Strictly It Takes Two host said he was going for a natural as he ditched the dye as while he is naturally a red head, he is known for his jet black hair and sculpted beard in a matching raven colour. Rylan, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2012 and went on to win Celebrity Big Brother and present spin-off show Big Brother's Bit On The Side, told his Twitter followers: "I MIGHT try natural for a bit."

And he was urged on by followers as he revealed a fuller beard of his natural colour in a smiling picture of him wearing a sports top. In his latest appearance update on Monday (March 20), Rylan shared a selfie to Instagram and Twitter and wrote alongside it: "Day 3 of growing it out." But he then admitted: "Doubt I'll last," alongside a crying laughing emoji.

Fans were then, again, encouraging him to embrace the natural look. @madeleinemaste4 said: "Like it - appreciate how hard it is to change but it is more you and that can only be a good thing." @dawnhardy2006 replied: "I think the natural look is more attractive than when you dye it solid black."

@PhoenixJo2010 commented: "Rylan! Looking great. Go the distance, you can do it. Natural is so much better." @diawin1256 posted: "Go natural it’s so much nicer and softer on your beautiful face." @buddyjjs added: "Think it looks better than whe dyed, but it’s how you feel and what you think that counts."
