It is a new-look Team USA both on and off the course at the Ryder Cup this week.
Keegan Bradley captains his country on home soil at Bethpage, hoping to oversee a victory that would reclaim the trophy the Americans lost in Rome two years ago.
Previous American teams have had plenty of experience guiding them, with Fred Couples, Steve Stricker and Davis Love III among the regulars in captaincy roles.
Bradley has opted for a different approach, with his backroom team having a younger feel and made up of those with closer relationships to the players on the team.
Standard Sport takes a look at the six men leading Team USA this week...
Keegan Bradley
Had he not been captain, Bradley would have been playing this week. Now the world No13 after a superb season but opted against becoming a first player-captain since 1963.
Twice on the Ryder Cup team as a player, losing in 2012 and 2014, and unfortunate to miss out in Rome. A strange choice as captain but an emotional figure who the team should rally around.
Webb Simpson
Simpson has seven PGA Tour wins including the 2012 US Open. The 40-year-old is no longer a factor at the top of the game, dropping to 409th in the world.
Played on three Ryder Cup teams and lost on each occasion - first at Medinah in 2012 and then twice on the road.
Brandt Snedeker
First time as a vice-captain. He went 3-0-0 as Team USA won the 2016 Ryder Cup in dominant fashion, forming a strong partnership with Brooks Koepka.
It will be an important week of learning for Snedeker, who will captain the team at the Presidents Cup next year.

Kevin Kisner
Thrived in head-to-head golf, winning the WGC Match Play in 2019 and twice finishing as runner-up.
Never made a Ryder Cup team but twice played in the Presidents Cup, and was unbeaten across four matches in 2017.
Jim Furyk
The experienced head on the team. Played in nine consecutive Ryder Cups, with a 10-20-4 record.
Captain when Team USA were thrashed 17.5-10.5 in France in 2018, but led a dominant Presidents Cup victory last year.
Gary Woodland
The final vice-captain pick from Bradley. Rose up to 12th in the world in 2019, when he won the US Open.
Had to step away from the sport in 2023 as he underwent brain surgery to remove a tumour, but has built his way back and this will be his first Ryder Cup involvement.
