Ryanair to start flights from Liverpool with new passenger rules

Ryanair is starting flights this week from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to multiple Spanish cities.

But it won't be a normal experience as a number of new regulations will be imposed on passengers.

The first departure, from Liverpool to Alicante, will leave on Sunday June 21.

This will be followed by a flight from Liverpool to Malaga on Monday, June 22.

Ryanair is advertising the one-way flight to Alicante for £40.90, but a one-way ticket to Malaga is priced at £247.99.

According to Liverpool Airport, by July 1, they are anticipating 69 departures per week with Ryanair.

Its subsidiary airline, Lauda will recommence flights to Vienna in August.

Passengers boarding the flights to Spain from Liverpool will notice a number of changes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Onboard, Ryanair's aircrafts will be fitted with state of the art air filtration systems which operate to hospital standards.

They will have a limited inflight service onboard, consisting of wrapped snacks and drinks and sales will be cashless.

And queuing for toilets will not be permitted.
