Ryanair passengers can now buy discounted PCR Covid testing kits for their holidays, costing just £60.
The budget carrier has teamed up with testing kit brand Randox, to offer a half price discount for customers on the kits which usually cost £120.
Non-essential foreign travel is set to restart for the summer under a new 'traffic light system' which will include a pre-departure test as well as PCR testing once back in the UK - and in some cases, this includes needing to take two PCR tests.
However currently these tests can start from £120 - meaning travellers could face having to fork out hundreds of pounds on top of their holiday costs.
Green list destinations will require a PCR test on day two of their return, amber on days two and five during self-isolation (test and release will apply, but if there isn't a confirmed negative result then another test on day eight), while red list destinations will require PCR tests on days two and eight of a quarantine hotel stay.
Ryanair's discount for passengers will be available on both pre-departure tests, and testing kits for days two and eight once a holidaymaker is back in the UK. The airline has said that discounts will be available to UK-based customers only.

It's not the only carrier to have secured cheaper PCR tests with Randox.
Thomas Cook, which relaunched last year as an online travel agent, has also secured deals of up to 50% off home testing kits with the firm, as has British Airways.
The latter has also teamed up with brands such as ExpressTest at Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as Qured with antigen tests from £33. You can get more information on the various options available at ba.com.
