Budget airline Ryanair has confirmed plans to add a new destination route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport - with fares available for less than £25.
Holidaymakers looking to escape the doom and gloom of the British winter will be able to book cheap flights to the city of Zadar in Croatia, with twice weekly flights commencing from May 2020.
The popular destination is the newest route to be offered by Ryanair from Liverpool and comes as part of Ryanair's Liverpool Summer 2020 schedule.
Liverpool locals and visitors can now book a holiday to Zadar as far in advance as October 2020, with the airline promising bookers "the lowest fares and the lowest CO2 emissions available" from a major European airline.
Ryanair's Eimear Ryan said: "Ryanair is pleased to launch a new Liverpool route to Zadar in Croatia, commencing in May, which will operate twice weekly as part of our Liverpool Summer 2020 schedule.
"Customers in Liverpool can now book flights to Zadar as far out as October 2020.
"To celebrate this new Liverpool route, we are launching a seat sale with fares available from just £21.99, for travel from May to June 2020, which must be booked by midnight Friday (December 13).
"Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out."
While Paul Winfield, director of aviation development at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, said: " We are delighted to welcome new service to Zadar, allowing passengers from across the North West Region to fly from the faster, easier, friendlier airport in the North West."
Ryanair's seat sale will finish tomorrow, Friday December 13, at midnight.
