Low cost airline Ryanair has announced three new routes and increased flights to popular Greek holiday destinations from the UK.
They involve Teesside Airport as well as Liverpool and Manchester and the destinations are Chania, Corfu, Kos, Rhodes and Santorini.
These new routes and extra frequencies will commence in July as part of Ryanair’s extended UK summer 2021 schedule.
Those booking flights have the option to use Ryanair’s zero change fee should plans change, according to the company.
As part of the announcement, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from £19.99 for travel until the end of October 2021, which must be booked by midnight on Friday, April 23 on the Ryanair.com website.
Ryanair’s Director of Commercial, Jason McGuinness, said: “As vaccination rollout programmes continue in the coming months, air traffic is set to soar and we are delighted to announce three new routes and extra flights connecting the UK to a host of popular Greek destinations this summer.
"Mindful that Covid restrictions change regularly, customers can now book flights for a well-deserved break knowing that if they need to postpone or change their travel dates, they can do so up to two times with a zero change fee until the end of October 2021."
The new route from Teesside Airport is to Corfu with one weekly flight. From Manchester there will be two weekly flights to Santorini and from Liverpool, one weekly flight to Kos.
The company also announced more flights from Manchester to Chania and Rhodes, as well as more flights from London Stansted to Rhodes.
