Ryanair launches 2020 summer schedule with new eastern European flights

A new route from Edinburgh to a Polish city and increased flights to Bucharest are part of Ryanair's 2020 summer schedule announced today.

The budget airline will launch two flights a week from the Scottish capital to Bydgoszcz in northern Poland, which is the country's eighth largest city.

Bydgoszcz features Wyspa Młyńska or Mill Island, which was the city;s former industrial heart which included the country's royal mint – right in the heart of the city centre. It will fly three services to Romani's capital and largest city Bucharest during the summer months in 2020.

The flights are part of more than 500 announced in the scheduled which are expected to deliver 46.3 million passengers a year and support 35,000 jobs at the 21 UK airports the Irish airline flies to and from.

To celebrate the launch, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares on its UK routes available from just £14.99, for travel until the end of November 2019, which must be booked by midnight this Thursday , only on the Ryanair.com website.

Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said: “Ryanair is delighted to bring the lowest emissions and fares to the UK with our Summer 2020 schedule, with 14 new routes at our UK airports, and more than 500 routes in total, which will deliver 46.3 million customers per annum and support 35,000 jobs at our 21 UK airports.”
