Those hoping to get out of Britain in the next few months could save a huge amount on flights - if you're willing to risk booking.
Budget airline Ryanair is selling off flights from Manchester for just a fiver - the same price as a dayrider bus ticket - in a new flash sale.
Brave travellers who fancy their chances of getting abroad could bag a massive discount on a number of popular destinations flying from across the UK.
In a bid to boost passenger numbers, the operator has released a million seats as part of its 48-hour £5 promotion.
The deals are available to book now and are valid for travel through to October, but travellers will need to be quick as the sale ends at midnight on Wednesday (September 2).
Controversially, the Ryanair sale currently includes destinations where the FCO currently advises against travel, such as Spain and France.
And unlike previous sales, if you've booked and the government's travel advice doesn't change, the flights will be subject to change fees in order rebook for a later date.
But if the gamble pays off, it could be a way to save a massive amount on flights that would usually come at a premium price during the late summer holiday season.
While London Stansted seems to have got the best end of the deal with 46 destinations on the £5 sale list, there are still a decent number of top city break spots available from Manchester at the heavily-discounted rates.
