Ryanair flights from Cork Airport returning with 23 routes operating from July 1

Cork Airport's road to full swing has gotten a bit clearer as Ryanair have confirmed a host of their flights will be back next month.

Twenty-three destinations are back on the cards from July 1 as they look to offer some destinations across European countries that have opened their borders.

Cork Airport has confirmed the services will go back running from July with their managing director Niall MacCarthy saying everyone there is delighted with the news, Cork Beo reports.

Cork Airport and Ryanair will require customers to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their entire journey from arrival at the airport, during the flight to exiting the terminal building at their destination.

The routes coming back from July 1 (and the London ones that will be more frequent) are:

Alicante

Bordeaux

Budapest

Carcassonne

Faro

Girona

Gdansk

Katowice

Lanzarote

Liverpool

London Gatwick

London Luton

London Stansted

Las Palmas

Malaga

Malta

Milan Bergamo

Naples

Palma

Poznan

Reus

Tenerife

Wroclaw

Customers will be notified by Ryanair of this before their departure and will be asked to ensure they possess enough masks for their trip. Masks are also going to be available from vending machines in the airport.

They said: "This is in addition to a range of health & safety measures implemented by Cork Airport in response to the Covid-19 health crisis, which includes the adherence to social and physical distancing throughout the terminal and the installation of Plexiglas protection screens at customer service desks such as Check-In, Security and Boarding Gates as well as sanitization procedures to the highest standards.

"Cork Airport reassures passengers that their health and safety and that of staff is an absolute priority.

"Everyone at Cork Airport is fully mobilized to ensure the highest levels of health and safety for customers and to ensure they travel in confidence."
