A Ryanair flight from Newcastle Airport has been forced to make an unplanned landing in France.
Flight FR2347 departed Tyneside at around 8.50am on Tuesday and was flying near Toulouse when it is understood passengers began "smelling burning".
Passengers on board the flight heading to Palma de Mallorca Airport told ChronicleLive they had heard reports of a problem with the plane's engines.

Images from a passenger shows the flight after being grounded at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport where it was met on the tarmac by a number of fire engines.
The flight was due to touch down in Majorca at approximately 12:35pm.
It has been reported passengers were initially told to stay seated on board, including being unable to use the toilet. However, this has now been relaxed.
A spokeswoman from Ryanair said: "This flight from Newcastle to Palma (16 Aug) diverted to Toulouse due to a minor technical issue with the aircraft.
"To minimise disruption to passengers, we have arranged for an alternative aircraft to bring them to Palma later today.
"Affected passengers have been notified and provided with refreshment vouchers.
"Ryanair sincerely apologises to all affected passengers.”
