A Ryanair flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Berlin following reports of a bomb threat on board the plan.
The flight from Dublin to Krakow in Poland made an unexpected stop off in the German capital at around 8pm on Sunday evening.
German publication Bild reports that police and emergency services were all station around the plane which remained on the tarmac of Brandenburg airport for some time.
All 160 passengers were removed from the plane and baggage was removed before security checks took place.
A Berlin police spokesperson said that officers had completed their security checks "without any danger being detected".
A replacement aircraft was made available to the passengers so that they could continue their journey to Poland at 03.46 a.m.
The emergency stop comes following another Ryanair plane being forced to land in Minsk so a journalist on board could be arrested in Belarus.
The ex-editor of the telegram channel Nexta, Roman Protasevich, was detained by state authrorities where he currently remains in custody.
