Ryanair flight bound for Dublin Airport from Krakow makes emergency landing in UK

A Ryanair flight destined for Dublin Airport has been forced to make an emergency landing in the UK this evening.

Flight FR1902 was headed to Dublin from Krakow in Poland.

But the plane began descending over the UK at around 6:30pm this evening, Dublin Live reports.

No reason has yet been given for the sudden landing.

After putting out a distress call, the flight was rerouted to London's Stansted Airport, north of the English capital city.

The plane was picked up by two fighter jets, a pair of Eurofighter Typhoons, as it came in.

Thankfully, the flight was seemingly able to land safely at Stansted, and taxi away from the terminal area.

Ryanair have been contacted for comment.
