Ryanair customers unable to check-in online after company’s website crashes

Ryanair customers trying to check-in online were left frustrated after the website crashed.

Customers trying to log in to the website were met with a landing page informing them that the site was “down for maintenance.”

The airline confirmed that there was a brief server issue however the website is back up and running normally.

Customers took to social media to complain about being unable to check in.

One customer, claimed he was charged £55 as he was unable to check-in before his flight.

Earlier today, the airline launched its Black Friday deals with flights costing as little as £5 each way.

Earlier this month the comapny shut down its website for 12 hours as part of a "systems upgrade."

Emails and texts were sent to all customers flying on Wednesday or Thursday to advise them to check-in ahead of the upgrade.

The website outage comes as Facebook Messenger also crashed on Monday evening.

Thousands of frustrated users in the US and across the Europe complained they were affected by the issue.
