Ryanair currently has flights to Europe for less than £10 including 2020 flights

Ryanair is giving Brits the chance to snap up some cheap flights to Europe in its October sale.

The budget carrier has slashed prices on thousands of flights, with fares currently available from £9.99 each way.

The best part is that there's quite a generous window of travel dates to choose from, as the deals are valid for travel between November 2019 through to May 2020 (which means you might be able to bag a bargain for the Christmas holidays or even February half term if you're planning ahead).

You can already book the discounted flights on the Ryanair website but you'll need to do so by midnight on Sunday 20th October 2019, when the sale ends.

It's also worth noting that the cheapest fares are subject to availability so once they're snapped up, that's it.

At the time of writing, there were plenty of fares from £9.99 each way still up for grabs - and a host of UK departure airports too.

For example, there were £9.99 fares from London Stansted to Barcelona, Biarritz, Corfu and Rhodes, from London Southend to Barcelona or Faro, London Luton to Copenhagen or Faro, Bristol or East Midlands to Milan, Manchester to Brussels and Newcastle to Palma de Mallorca, to name a few.

But they're not the only deals - we could also find fares from £12.99 on routes such as London Stansted to Crete, London Southend to Malaga or Alicante, Bristol to Venice and East Midlands to Warsaw.

The cheap flights won't include your baggage fees, so you'll need to pay extra if you plan on bringing a second bag with you.

Under the airline's hand luggage policy, non priority passengers can bring one free small personal bag which can't be bigger than 40cm x 20cm x 25cm.

However if you've paid for priority boarding, you can bring a free small personal bag AND a cabin bag which can't weigh more than 10kg and must fit in the overhead locker. (The airline also offers a 10kg check-in bag option which you can find out more about on the Ryanair website ).
