Ryan Tunnicliffe has sent a message of thanks to the Millwall fans after his time at the club came to an end.
The 26-year-old is one of seven players to have left Millwall this summer, having been with the Lions since the summer of 2017, when he joined the club after being released by Fulham.
But despite featuring 32 times for the Lions last season, Tunnicliffe again finds himself without a club, with the midfielder joining the likes of Jordan Archer and Lee Gregory in leaving The Den.
However, Tunnicliffe has sent a message to the Millwall fans after leaving the club, adding that he is departing with fond memories of his time with the Lions.
Writing on Twitter today (Monday) after officially becoming a free agent following the expiration of his contract, he said: "A quick thank you to Millwall & the Millwall fans! A special and unique club. One that I have really enjoyed playing for! Made some friends for life and some great memories that I won't forget."
It has been a summer of change so far at Millwall, with club legend Steve Morison also leaving the club to join Shrewsbury Town on loan for the duration of the 2019/20 campaign.
The Lions have, however, completed the signings of goalkeeper Frank Fielding and teenager winger Tyler Busey, adding to the permanent signing of Alex Pearce, who spent time on loan at Millwall last season.
