Ryan Tubridy sends fans into a frenzy with major Late Late Toy Show news

Ryan Tubridy has hinted at the date for the Late Late Toy Show - even though it's only January!

Plans are already underway for the iconic Irish programme, despite it being 11 months away.

Ryan Tubridy posted a picture on his Instagram story of his yearly calender with a piece of tinsel suggesting the date of the popular programme.

It would seem that we can prepare for the Toy Show to be aired on Friday, November 26 on RTE One.

The Dubliner wrote: "Our 2021 Planner arrived. Only one certainty! Tinsel marks the spot."

The annual Christmas spectacular hosted by Ryan Tubridy, topped Ireland's telly ratings in 2020 with an average of 1.7million viewers tuning in for the highly praised show.

The Late Late Toy Show appeal raised a staggering €5.2million for charity.

The appeal, which replaced the usual competition in 2020, went to a number of Irish charities.

Viewers were absolutely loving last year's addition of the iconic programme, with many heaping praise on organisers for keeping the show on the road during the pandemic.

He previously told the Irish Mirror: “What a peculiar and bizarre road to a Toy Show. This was the Toy Show that nearly didn’t happen.

“And only for the grit and determination and diligence and an absolute need to keep the show on the road for the Irish children at home and abroad we wouldn’t be here today talking.

“But we weren’t having any of it, we just had to keep going.

“We had a different theme picked, and then March happened. We had a different plan ready to go and then lockdown two happened.

“We have met speed bump after speed bump and we keep climbing over them to get to Friday night.

“So this show is about determination and resilience and reflects in those words what Irish people have been about all year."
