Ryan Tubridy's guests for this week's Late Late Show line-up announced

Legendary The Dubliners musician John Sheahan will lead Friday's Late Late Show line-up.

The 79-year-old, who's the last remaining member of the five-member band, will join Ryan Tubridy in studio.

Irish champion jockey Pat Smullen will be in to discuss his pancreatic cancer diagnosis, and his decision to retire following medical advice.

Republic of Ireland's first choice goalkeeper Darren Randolph is also to join the sofa - with his mum Anne.

The proud mother of the Middlesbrough star will chat to Ryan about her pursuit of a singing career.

RTE host Ryan Tubridy's powerful message for people worrying about getting old  

Irish crime fiction writers Liz Nugent, Jo Spain and Patricia Gibney are to be in the Donnybrook studio to discuss the public's fascination in the crime world.

Ryan will also be joined for chats and tunes by Declan O’Rourke, Damien Dempsey, Ralph McTell, Phelim Drew, as well as Steve Wickham, Zoe Conway, Máire Breatnach and Colm Mac Con Iomaire.

The Late Late Show is on RTÉ One on Friday at 9.35pm.
