RTE star and Late Late Show presenter Ryan Tubridy has been named one of Ireland's most inspiring people.
In a new survey from ONSIDE, Tubs was highlighted alongside Katie Taylor and Christy Moore in terms of celebrities that the Irish public look up to.
Champion boxer Taylor was named as Ireland’s Most Admired Sports Personality for the fifth year in a row in a list which also features Roy Keane, Kellie Harrington, Shane Lowry and Brian O'Driscoll.
The research, ONSIDE used a nationally representative survey of 1,000 adults aged 18+ across the Republic of Ireland.
- 1 in 4 adults identified Katie Taylor as their most admired sports personality, extending her title as Most Admired Sports Personality for the 5th year in a row
- Kellie Harrington joined the Top 10 sports stars, ranking 4th overall
- 3 in 4 Irish adults have a sports star they admire
- Ryan Tubridy & Claire Byrne have retained their Top 2 status as most admired male and female television or radio personalities
- Tommy Tiernan entered the Top 5 most admired Irish television or radio personalities for the first time

On the music and entertainment front, Daniel O’Donnell, Bono, Hozier, Christy Moore and Dermot Kennedy topped the Irish public’s most admired music stars.
