Ryan Tubridy warmed the hearts of the nation this morning after an adorable interview with a young Irish girl left him in fits of laughter.
Tubs charmed listeners of his daily radio show when he revealed his plan to run a “kids know stuff” themed quiz live on air.
And the Dubliner didn’t disappoint, bringing youngster Grace Hickey onto the airwaves for a quiz that left listeners mightily amused.
While the quiz itself was a hit – with guitars, chairs and apples among the answers required of young Grace – it was her introduction that really left Tubs clutching his sides.

“We’re building a Lego wedding,” Grace informed her host.
“Of course you are,” said a tickled Tubridy, before asking if Covid-19 measures would restrict the festivities for “Brian and Diana” tying the knot.
“I don't think so – Covid's not applying to Lego,” Grace responded hilariously.
She proceeded to smash Tubridy’s quiz – scoring a perfect five out of five and scooping a €50 National Book Token in the process.
Fighting off laughter, Tubs bid her farewell: “Good luck with the wedding – hope everyone has a great day.
“Good luck with the canapes and we'll talk to you again.”
All week Tubs has been attempting to transmit messages of positivity to a country struggling under the weight of new Level Five restrictions.
And he’s launched a campaign in recent weeks that encourages people to support local businesses – and “abandon Amazon”.
Next Friday he’s going one step further, with a plan to bring small Irish companies onto the Late Late Show.
In under two weeks, Tubridy’s iconic Friday-night telly show will speak to local businesses all around the country in an attempt to bring them to a wider audience and boost flagging sales.
The news has prompted a huge response from businesses around the country, with many writing into his show daily to share news of their progress and products as Level Five progresses.
