Ryan Tubridy continues Wild Atlantic Way series after letting listeners chose destination

Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy is back on tour of the Wild Atlantic Way after allowing his listeners to chose his destination.

The Late Late Show host took to the airwaves from Schull, West Cork yesterday after a competition among his RTE Radio 1 listeners.

Earlier this summer, Ryan took his 330,000 listeners on a magical trip along the Wild Atlantic Way, broadcasting live from locations on the West Coast for a week.

Schull was chosen as the location for a special follow up live broadcast, after a competition amongst Ryan’s listeners to submit their suggested town, village, community or hidden gem along the route using the hashtag #sendmeonmyWildAtlanticWay via Twitter, email and text.

The presenter seemed to be having the time of his life as he was taken on a boat trip around Fasnet Lighthouse, enjoyed a sailing lesson and mingled with the locals.
