Ryan Tubridy confirms three high-profile guests for RTE Late Late Show as Conan O'Brien leads lineup

It's official – we have a partial Late Late Show lineup to share, and it's a cracker.

Tomorrow night will see a flurry of high-profile guests descend on Ryan Tubridy's famous couch – with Gabriel Byrne, Andrea Bocelli and Conan O'Brien leading the lineup.

Tubs teased the lineup on social media this morning, ahead of an official announcement from RTE in the coming hours.

And Tubs hinted that there'll be more big names released ahead of tomorrow night, in an update that will have excited loyal fans of the iconic Friday-night programme.

"The Late Late Show tomorrow includes the great Conan O'Brien – looking forward to talking to him, I have to say," the Dubliner told fans on Instagram.

He added that the show will also host Italian opera legend Andrea Bocelli, who will be singing on the programme as well as sitting down for a chat.

Irish acting great Gabriel Byrne – hailed by Tubridy as "one of our finest actors" – completes the trio of early announcements.

And, Tubs added, "that's just for starters."

It's a mouthwatering lineup – you suspect US talk-show provocateur O'Brien will have plenty to say in the immediate aftermath of a bitterly fought US presidential election.

Given Tubridy's love of all things American politics, it could make for a fascinating conversation.

Actor Byrne, meanwhile, is releasing his autobiography this week, in a book that sees him open up about the abuse he suffered as a child.

The 70-year-old is known for his honesty – and he's been offering strong opinions on the presidential election himself over the last few weeks.

It's set to be a corker.

Tubridy teased the news on his way into work this morning, ahead of a radio show that saw him paying tribute to a "magic" new Supervalu Christmas ad.

The RTE host hailed Supervalu for an advert he said marks Ireland's response to the UK's iconic John Lewis Christmas message.
