Ryan Thomas has shared the tear-jerker moment he broke the news Lucy Mecklenbugh was pregnant to his daughter Scarlett.
Former CBB star Ryan posted a short video on Instagram showing his whole family posing up for a family photo before Scarlett found out the news.
In the adorable video, Scarlett opens up a box with a cute balloon inside saying: "You are going to be a big sister!"
Breaking down in tears the ten-year-old, who Ryan shares with Corrie actress Tina O'Brien, is then hugged by Lucy and Ryan.
Lucy quips: "These are happy tears!"
Hollyoaks actress Nickki Anderson commented: "Made me cry."
The pair confirmed the happy news tonight by sharing a picture of Lucy's baby bump.
The snap showed the couple holding up a baby grow surrounded by balloons and flowers.
She wrote: "Best birthday present I’ve ever had love you @ryanthomas84 ."
Lucy's mate Lydia Bright is also pregnant with her first child and she was quick to comment on the post.
She wrote: "Wohooooooooo, we can finally scream it from the roof tops. Can’t wait for our babies to be best friends."
Ryan's ex Tina has a three-year-old son Beau with husband Adam Crofts.
