Ryan Thomas looks totally unrecognisable after straightening his famous curls

Ryan Thomas has given his new hair its Instagram debut after fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh took the straighteners to his signature curls.

The Mancunian star's new look was shared by Lucy after fans begged her to shown them what a straight-haired Ryan would look like.

"U voted for it!" Lucy captioned the snap, "Here's Ryan's straightened hair!"

Ryan smouldered at the camera with his new arrow-straight locks swept across his forehead a la early Justin Bieber.

On his lap was perched eight-month-old baby boy Roman, who looked less than impressed at his dad's new look.

"I did it guys," Lucy laughed, "here's Ryan's new look. It looks silly doesn't it, Roman?"

"It's because I'm worth it," Ryan replied, flicking his hair.

Ryan also has 11-year-old Scarlett, who he shares with ex Tina O'Brien.

Meanwhile, new mum Lucy - who's always been open about the ups and downs of parenthood - shared some parenting wisdom when a fan asked her if she ever struggles.

One fan asked if there were days where she "didn't want to be a mum", Lucy candidly replying: "Absolutely, and I think that anyone who says they don't, they're probably lying.

"It's really tough, it's the hardest job in the world, and I think that's a really normal feeling. I've had it before when he's started crying at like 5:30am in the morning and I've thought, 'I don't want to do it today!'"

Meanwhile, it's thought ITV want to pick up Corrie star Ryan and his brothers Scott and Adam for another series of Mancs in Mumbai which saw them tour India with dad Dougie.

It's thought the boys are getting another series with ITV (ITV)

It saw the three lads grapple with some unresolved emotional baggage as they confronted their dad over his six year absence when they were kids.

And now the show was said to have been such a hit with higher ups at ITV that the boys are getting a second series.

It's reckoned the trio will be heading out to South America and the Caribbean to look even further into their family ties.
