Ryan Thomas has revealed he feels full of fear and loneliness as he and fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh raise their newborn son in lockdown.
The former Coronation Street star, who welcomed little Roman with Lucy on March 12, is also a proud dad to 11-year-old Scarlett with ex Tina O'Brien.
But despite the joys of welcoming a new baby, Ryan is feeling worried about the current situation amid the coronavirus pandemic as the country was put on lockdown.
The actor shared a candid snap with his 1 million Instagram followers in which he vowed to help new parents with baby supplies during the crisis.

Ryan penned: "Isolation. I’ve been thinking a lot about parents who are soon to bring a baby or just had a baby like ourselves into this crazy world we live in right now.
"Something none of us imagined. what is suppose to be one of the most special times in your life is full fear and loneliness.
"It is unsettling not having support and reassurance from loved ones and the knowledge of normal medical care available if needed and it makes you feel very vulnerable."

He continued: "To all parents out there you need to know you are doing such an amazing job.
"It’s only small gesture but if you need anything nappies, baby grows, formula things maybe I can send in the post that we have or I can order for you online.
"Please dm me your address & what you need and I’ll try and do as much I can to help as know it must be a difficult time right now. Stay strong & positive."

It comes as Ryan was left heartbroken that his daughter was forced to meet her new half brother Roman on FaceTime.
Despite the joy of welcoming his son this month, Ryan's happiness was bittersweet as his daughter could only meet her brother virtually.

The soap star took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of the exchange.
Writing to his one million followers, the dad-of-two beamed: "Thank god for technology!
"I’m finding it really tough being away from my family and sad this is how my daughter met her baby brother."

He added: "To any other broken families I feel your pain and it’s killing me being apart from my daughter and family for so long, especially at this special time.
"BUT we all need to take social isolation and social distancing seriously and it’s a sacrifice we have to make to save lives."
