Ryan Thomas' daughter reveals incredible singing voice as she pleads with Boris Johnson in song about key workers

Proud dad Ryan Thomas has shared a video of his talented daughter performing a moving song about key workers during the pandemic.

Eleven-year-old Scarlett showcases her powerful voice as she makes a plea to Prime Minister Boris Johnson to 'up his game' in the song.

She sings about key workers trying their 'very best' while being put to the test by the COVID-19 virus.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw in the soap, shared the video on his Instagram with the words: "Scarlett’s always talking about the key workers so poignant right now.

"My favourite line 'Boris my guy you need to up your game so we can fight this crime.'"

Ryan's pal and fellow former Corrie actor Richard Fleeshman cheered: "Go on Scarlet."

And Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe, wrote: "What a treasure."

"Her voice is something else," said one follower.

"What a talented little lady!!" exclaimed another.

"She’s incredible, love her, watch out for her when she’s older," another told former Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan.

On Father's Day Ryan was treated to a performance from Scarlett of With You from Ghost The Musical.

"Best Father's Day present love her," he wrote .

Scarlett is Ryan's daughter with his ex Tina O'Brien, 37, who plays Sarah Platt in Corrie.

In 2019 Tina told us that Scarlett, one of the talented children who attend Drama MOB, a drama school and casting agency launched by Tina and her best friend Esther Morgan in 2013, is keen to become a singer and work in musical theatre.

Ryan, 36, also has a son Roman with his fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh, 29.

Roman was born in March just before the nation went into the first lockdown.
