Ryan Shanley joins Edinburgh City as Hibs youngster heads for another loan deal

Ryan Shanley has left Hibs to join Edinburgh City on another loan deal.

The striker returned to the Easter Road club last month after a short stint in Ireland with Finn Harps failed to provide the game time wanted.

He struggled to get a game at the Donegal based club and returned to Hibs, but will spend next season in League Two.

He’s also had spells at Forfar and Kelty Hearts and Jack Ross gave him his debut for Hibs last season.

Now he’s been reunited with former youth coach Grant Murray and he admits he’s delighted to be joining the club.

He said: "I am buzzing to have signed on loan for Edinburgh City.

“I can't wait to get started. I am looking forward to the season ahead and hope that once again we will be fighting for promotion.

“I have worked with Grant Murray in the past and so I know the kind of standards to expect and looking forward to working with the manager who has brought me into the Club."
