Ryan Sessegnon has posted an emotional message to the Fulham supporters after his departure was confirmed.
The 19-year-old completed a move to Tottenham Hotspur for a fee in the region of £30million, while the Cottagers also signed Josh Onomah as part of the deal.
The talented youngster has been a part of the Fulham set-up since the age of nine, and despite being swept up in the delight of signing for the Premier League giants, he took the time to share a message with those who helped him to achieve what he has.
Posting on social media, he said: "Firstly, I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone connected with Fulham FC for the last 10 years.
"The players, staff and fans have been brilliant with me!
"From my time in the academy age 9-16 to the first team at 16-19, it has been one hell of a journey.
"I also want to say thank you for the trust and belief the club put in me at my young age.
"I'll never forget the season we went up and those magical nights at Craven Cottage for the play-off 2nd leg and at Wembley when we went back to the Premier League.
"I wish the club success in the future and hope to see Fulham back in the Premier League real soon."
