Ryan Sessegnon avoids the ultimate punishment as he leads Tottenham to victory over West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur have beaten West Ham United 2-0.

In an alternative universe that is as a player from each club battled it out on FIFA 20 on Friday night, making use of the Premier League's coronavirus suspension.

This was the fixture which was supposed to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight, however the decision to suspend all Premier League fixtures until at least April 30th means that the game was postponed.

Premier League stars past and present keep themselves entertained

But Michail Antonio and Ryan Sessegnon found their own way to ensure that a form of the London derby went ahead in an alternative universe.

At the beginning of the week in an attempt to stage the game, the Hammers winger had a brilliant idea as he took to Twitter on Monday evening and posted an invitation to play the game on FIFA.

"I ain’t missing playing a London derby this weekend... Fifa, who wants it?" he tweeted.

It prompted a response from Sessegnon: "I'm game, when we playing?" he replied.

A further couple of posts were tweeted between the two players: "You ain’t ready for this..." posted Antonio, with Sessegnon replying with emojis saying less talk more gaming.

And the stakes were elevated less than 24 hours later.

In a message to the Spurs wonderkid on Tuesday, Antonio has suggested the ultimate forfeit for the loser.

"It’s on, let's raise the stakes, loser gives a full apology wearing the other team’s shirt?????" he asked.

Sessegnon accepted the challenge, the game took place on Friday night and it was the Spurs star who came out on top, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Giovani Lo Celso and Lucas Moura.

In winning the battle which was streamed live on the Hammers' official website, Sessegnon has avoided the ultimate forfeit.

Which can't be said for his opponent.

Antonio must now give Sessegnon a full apology whilst wearing a Spurs shirt - similar to when Paul Ince in the 90's was pictured in a Manchester United shirt prior to joining the Red Devils and quickly went from hero to zero among the Hammers faithful.
