Ryan Seacrest's Weight Loss Linked to Ozempic — But Fans Fear a Serious Health Issue

TV personality Ryan Seacrest has raised concern among fans after his recent Instagram photos showed a noticeably thinner appearance.

With social media buzzing, many are wondering where the results are coming from Could it be from slimming drugs like Ozempic or simply a new fitness routine?

Fan Alarm as Photos Go Viral

Seacrest shared an image carousel post on Instagram on Monday, 30 June. It had the simple caption of 'Lately.' The first photo features a full-body shot of Ryan standing on a deck with trees behind him.

He was wearing a short-sleeve button-down shirt in tan with matching pants. It was complemented by a brown belt and cream or white-coloured shoes. He posed in a candid manner with hands in his pockets, looking at the floor.

Fan reaction is a bit one-sided should readers look into the post. Comments like 'He looks frail to me', 'you're getting too skinny,' and 'are you ok?' can be seen in an instant.

Of course, some fans are also assuming that Seacrest is on Ozempic, a GLP-1 weight loss drug. It was referenced by one commenter saying 'please tell me you're not on the skinny drugs too.'

Ryan's Health Journey Started in 2023

Seacrest talked about his health routine in 2023, which includes a lot of sleep and coffee in the morning. He told People.com 'I have a shot of olive oil in the morning before my coffee every day.'

He noted that it helps with weight loss, inflammation, and the different systems in your body. He also added that he maintained a healthy Mediterranean diet with vegetables, fish, and salad.

Insider Clarifies: It's All About Fitness

A report from Page Six said that a source close to Seacrest says the change comes from a revamped workout plan. He's apparently been working with Dodd Romero, a trainer who has incorporated Pilates and yoga for Ryan.

In the same post cited above, Seacrest can be seen doing some meal prep. This suggests he's been into home cooking more and is enjoying his downtime accompanied by his dog. In short, this is more of a lifestyle shift than a health crisis.

Ozempic Speculation Halted By New Comments

It's been days since Seacrest has left his post up, and new people have arrived to defend Ryan from Ozempic-fueled allegations. There have been new responses urging positivity since the last 14 hours (at the time of writing).

'Looking good Ryan! Enjoy your down time,' one said. 'I just think it's rude to tell someone they are too skinny. Be positive and encouraging, y'all,' another added.

One went as far as saying 'IT IS NOT OK TO COMMENT ON SOMEONES BODY. Period. Just because he is a man/celebrity. THIS IS HIS PERSONAL ACCOUNT. He is a real human who has feelings and ages and CHANGES.'

Despite the mixed reactions to his 'life update,' Seacrest seems to be doing fine. His most recent post which was a day after shows him continuing to enjoy his time, eating pasta with friends.

While the change might catch some fans off guard, Ryan doesn't seem bothered.
Public scrutiny is the least of his worries, as he looks to be happy, healthy, and well.
