Ryan Reynolds' four-day Las Vegas party for Wrexham's players kicks off with stunning welcome

Just three days after celebrating promotion and the conclusion of the season, Wrexham are in Las Vegas with an all-expenses-paid four-day party on the agenda.

Organised by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the Hollywood stars and owners of Wrexham told the players to leave their credit cards at home for the trip, as they're covering everything.

The team landed at Harry Reid International Airport on Thursday evening. Captain Ben Tozer joked all the playerts looked like they were on a school trip while on a stopover at San Francisco Airport as they were all wearing the same "Champions" stash provided by WXM Clothing.

After arriving in Vegas, the team had a stunning meal put on for them at Hakkasan, a well-known luxury Asian restaurant in Sin City, as Las Vegas is known. Their signature dish of Peking duck with a side of caviar comes in at a hefty $188 (£150). A bottle of champagne at the venue will set you back by $200 (£160).

From there the players moved on to Hakkasan nightclub where they partied into the early hours.

Here is what's unfolded on social media on night one of the trip.

"Are you ready to see what Vegas is all about?"

Resorts World Las Vegas made an offer to host Wrexham earlier this week with a video that has the club crest emblazoned over the hotel building.

Wrexham skipper Ben Tozer posted this great shot of the team after they arrived in Vegas.

An incredible welcome at Hakkasan super-club

Hakkasan Nightclub hosted the National League champions and gave them a heroes' welcome.

The club crest was projected on to the LED screen with a message of congratulations, while the players are pictured in the centre of the stage with the team name spelt out in luminous-coloured pads held by staff. There were also sparklers firing off in the background and a Welsh flag waving either side of the shot as fellow revellers cheered.

Two-stepping to superstar DJs

Irish centre-half Eoghan O'Connell filmed himself with skipper Ben Tozer at 2am in the club

The caption reads: "Hakkasan at 2, shift in Foot Locker at 3, cheers pal.", This is a reference to the black-and-white striped uniform that employees at Foot Locker wear.

O'Connell and Tozer are filmed head-bobbing along to superstar DJ James Hype, who was performing there on Thursday night.

The team have another three days of partying to go, so the mayhem is only now getting started.
