Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively sends fans into a tizzy as they visit Great British Bake Off

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have excited fans after they were pictured visiting the Great British Bake Off.

A-list actor Reynolds took to his social media to share a snap alongside GBBO judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith outside the actual Bake Off tent.

Posing the photo, the Deadpool star and Wrexham AFC co-owner captioned the pic: “A full and unconditional hug of pure serotonin.”

Equally delighted by the meeting, Paul posted the same snap and shared his delight over their meeting.

“Prue and I catching up with @vancityreynolds … #legend,” the Channel 4 star wrote as he shared the snap on his own Instagram account, while he replied to Ryan’s and teased: “Great catching up …”

Hollywood was particularly giddy about the meeting as he went on to upload a photo alongside Reynolds’ wife, actress Blake Lively, who is an avid baker and fan of the show.

Joking that he’s found a replacement for Leith, he wrote: “Sorry Prue, Blake (@blakelively) has taken your seat… welcome to cake corner Blake #legendinthetent #getbaking @vancityreynolds”.

Unsurprisingly, fans are wondering if this means that either star could be taking part in the next Stand Up 2 Cancer celebrity series.

One commented: “He’s only gone and done bake off hasn’t he, cemented national treasure status.”

“If this doesn’t mean Ryan Reynolds is on the next celebrity bake off I don’t want it,” another wrote.

A third shared: “This is the crossover I never even knew I needed.”

“The UK has just claimed Ryan Reynolds as our own now and I am not sad about it,” another claimed.

It’s not such an outlandish idea to think that either could take part on the show given that the pair are should big fans of it.

He previously told People in 2019: “We live in a world that’s pretty divisive right now and there’s a lot going on. And I like that show just because it’s a nice thing to watch at night.”

The Deadpool actor has been spending more and more time in the UK since buying Wrexham AFC with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney.
