Ryan Murphy Productions has unveiled a teaser on Instagram for a new FX series called 'Grotesquerie.' The teaser, shared on the production company's account, revealed that the show is a horror drama series set to debut this fall. While the teaser did not feature any actual footage, it did showcase the names of cast members Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville against a black screen, with Nash-Betts delivering a mysterious monologue over a phone call.

In the teaser, Nash-Betts' character expressed a sense of unease, hinting at a shift in the world and the emergence of something unsettling. She alluded to a crime scene and the presence of mental health professionals, suggesting a dark and foreboding atmosphere surrounding the narrative of 'Grotesquerie.'

Details regarding the plot and characters of the series were not disclosed in the teaser, which primarily highlighted Ryan Murphy's involvement, the cast members, and the anticipated fall premiere date. FX has yet to provide additional information in response to inquiries about the upcoming show.

'Grotesquerie' marks Ryan Murphy's latest project for FX following his transition to Disney under a new overall deal. Previously, Murphy announced a collaboration with Kim Kardashian on a legal drama for Hulu. Murphy's longstanding partnership with FX dates back to the acclaimed series 'Nip/Tuck' in 2003, and he continues to produce popular anthologies like 'American Horror Story,' 'American Crime Story,' and 'Feud' for the network. Additionally, Murphy is working on the upcoming series 'American Sports Story.'

The teaser for 'Grotesquerie' has generated intrigue among fans and industry observers, setting the stage for a chilling and captivating addition to Murphy's repertoire of compelling television projects.
