Ryan Moore hit a perfect, slam dunk hole-in-one at legendary 17th hole at The Players

The 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass, the annual host of The Players Championship, is always one of the tournament’s key storylines each year.

The legendary island green is daunting to look at and can be very difficult to hit (well, for us amateurs, at least), as many pros do find the water more often than they’d like.

PGA Tour veteran Ryan Moore didn’t have those problems during Thursday’s first round, as he stepped up to the tee and hit a perfect shot on the 122-yard hole.

We say perfect because his ball didn’t even hit the green. It flew right into the flagstick and into hole:

Ridiculous.
