Ryan Kent's mammoth Rangers dressing room impact revealed but winger's one weak point uncovered

Ryan Kent is being tipped to reinvigorate the Rangers dressing room in the wake of Sunday's defeat to Celtic.

Kyle Lafferty spent a season playing alongside the 22-year-old and is in no doubt his former side have landed a gem in the former Liverpool star.

The £7million capture provides the perfect tonic after Sunday's sobering loss against their rivals and the Northern Irishman is certain spirits will be lifted.

Kent’s popularity within the Rangers squad is also something Lafferty believes will allow the Englishman to hit the ground running.

But Lafferty insists the fan favourite isn't good at everything.

He said: “He was a hugely popular boy in the dressing room, a very funny character.

“Everybody loved him, he was awful at table tennis though.

“Nobody had a bad word to say about him and he was a very good guy to be around. That will allow him to pick up where he left off.

“As a Rangers fan I’m absolutely buzzing to have Kenty back in the team I support. It sends out a massive statement to the league and
it shows the level of ambition at Rangers.

“Nobody can have any doubt about that. To sign someone of his quality has ensured the odds for winning the title have now turned in their favour.”
