Rangers defender Leon Balogun has spoken of his training nightmare as he speaks of a 'wing wizard' who constantly causes him problems in training - and no prizes for guessing who it is.
Balogun was referring to teammate Ryan Kent, who was in top form for Rangers last campaign as Steven Gerrard's side lifted the Scottish Premiership trophy. Kent scored 13 goals and provided 15 assists last term as the Gers won the league by 25 points.
Speaking to the Beautiful Game podcast, Balogun spoke of the real problems the 24-year-old wide man causes him on a daily basis.
He said: "Who causes me real problems in training every now and then is Ryan Kent. He’s a wing wizard, my god, he’s a problem.
"There was this one goal, I think against Hamilton where he just turns the defender inside out, dropping the shoulder, dropping it again, and the guy doesn’t know where he is, so we have a few of them."
Kent has sparkled in Glasgow since his initial arrival on loan in 2018 before Rangers made the move a permanent one the following year.
The winger currently has two years left on his four year contract he signed for the club in 2019. Kent will be looking to carry his impressive form from last season into the new campaign as Rangers look to make it back to back titles.
Central defender Balogun made 28 appearances in all competitions last season following his arrival from Wigan Athletic.
The 33-year-old Nigerian internationalist was an important part of Steven Gerrard's squad and featured heavily in the Europa League run that saw Rangers be knocked out in the last 16 against Slavia Prague after impressive performances to help them to that stage.
All eyes will now be turned to Rangers' season opener against Livingston, with the news that 23,000 Rangers season ticket holders will be permitted entry to their opening league match of the season.
