Ryan Kent punches Celtic captain Scott Brown in face but ESCAPES red card

Rangers winger Ryan Kent decked Celtic skipper Scott Brown with a punch in Sunday's powderkeg derby at Parkhead - and ESCAPED even a yellow card.

The on-loan winger lost his cool as Celtic Park erupted.

But referee Bobby Madden missed the incident and incredibly Kent wasn't even booked.

The flashpoint came at the end of a tumultuous battle which saw Alfredo Morelos sent off for the FIFTH time this season - for another clash with Brown.

The Colombian lashed out after being riled by the Hoops skipper in the 31st minute.

It left the Ibrox men up against it as they already trailed to an Odsonne Edouard goal.

But Kent levelled things in the second half and Rangers looked good for a point before Forrest's late winner.

There were ugly scenes at the full time whistle too as both sets of players clashed on the park.

Brown later joked he couldn’t remember the clash with Kent while the Celtic captain also clashed with Andy Halliday, who was sent off after the final whistle.
