Premier League side Leeds United could have another crack at landing Rangers winger Ryan Kent, according to a report.
Elland Road boss Marcelo Bielsa remains a keen admirer of the former Liverpool wide man and has made multiple bids, while the Lilywhites also previously weighed up a move for Borna Barisic.
But Steven Gerrard and the Ibrox hierarchy stood firm in the face of the Yorkshire club's approaches.
Now their resolve is set to be tested again, according to the Scottish Sun, with a £15m offer being weighed up.
Bielsa is said to have told transfer chief Victor Orta that he's still keen on the move, and that a space in his top-flight squad remains free for the 24-year-old.
And he's also keen on a "quick answer" from Govan as he hopes to get his squad into shape for building on an impressive first season back in the English top tier after 16 years.
Gerrard told the newly-promoted side "hands off" back in August when their first offer was knocked back.
The Rangers boss said: "The message for sure is ‘hands off’.
"Ryan is a player we admire very much here. He’s a player we’ve seen develop at Liverpool for a long time then brought him here and he did ever so well on loan.
"We went and bought Ryan and showed a lot of faith in him and he’s progressing very, very quickly here.
"He’s in a good place and a player we want to keep hold of.
"But yes we have had contact from Leeds and an opening bid has been really strongly rejected."
As one player is attracting admiring glances, Record Sport has exclusively revealed Connor Goldson is close to signing a new contract.
