Ryan Kent given Rangers area for improvement as pundit puts huge price tag on Ibrox star

Rangers star Ryan Kent will be worth £30million if he can improve his finishing according to former Aberdeen striker Noel Whelan.

The former Liverpool man has been in sensational form for the Ibrox club this season, with assistant manager Gary McAllister even tipping him for England consideration.

And while the Rangers star has hit four goals so far, the former Dons man believes he has to improve one facet of his game to go all the way to the top.

Whelan told Football Insider: "You see some fantastic finishes from him, goals that will be showing week in, week out, on TV.

"To be a better player and that complete midfield player, that complete winger, you’ve got to be putting chances away.

“We say it about Patrick Bamford, we say about certain other players – Raheem Sterling has got better in that department, he has improved the same way that Ryan Kent needs to improve.

"That final pass, that final ball sometimes can be better, and that finishing in front of goal and that composure, he’s going to be more ruthless.

"If he’s more ruthless like that, you’re talking in the £25-30million pound mark."
